Our new hrm software didn't have this feature (Company-wide time-off calendar) so I decided to make a company time off calendar everyone can access in Office 365. But I had to tackle it a little differently. So I've recently finished this kind of project in my environment. Does this seem like a viable way to do this? #isthereabetterway The only way I have seen to address this is to have the user make an appointment or meeting (in their personal calendar) and invite the "Company Calendar" shared mailbox as required. We don't want users to input time off into two calendars. Looking for the most efficient way to accomplish this.
but we also want users to update their personal Outlook calendars as well so free/busy data is displayed when making appointments and meetings with individuals in Outlook or Teams. The next part is a little tricky.so we want users to update the company calendar with time off, etc. So, I simply want to create a shared mailbox for a company "time off" calendar that all can use and modify. Ok, I have beat this topic up over the years as there seems to be so many ways of achieving what I am trying to do.
